HOA Committee Summaries and How to Get Involved

To keep everyone informed, below are clear summaries of three HOA committees and what they do. Each welcomes resident participation.

Community Outreach Committee

  • Purpose: Build a connected neighborhood through events, initiatives, and programs that promote engagement, inclusivity, and collaboration.
  • What they do: Plan community events, support local causes, and improve two-way communication between residents and the board.
  • Outcome: More opportunities to meet neighbors and a welcoming environment for all.

Neighborhood Watch Committee

  • Purpose: Enhance the safety and security of our community.
  • What they do: Partner with residents and local law enforcement, promote reporting of suspicious activity, and implement safety initiatives and education.
  • Outcome: A safer, more informed, and supportive neighborhood.

Architectural Review Committee (ARC)

  • Purpose: Maintain the community's aesthetic standards and protect property values.
  • What they do: Review and approve exterior modification requests and ensure projects comply with HOA guidelines and architectural standards; provide guidance on the approval process.
  • Outcome: Consistent, high-quality design throughout the neighborhood.

Trash can screening fence options (HOA-approved style)

Per HOA guidelines, trash can enclosures must be white with solid privacy walls at least 6 ft tall.

Here are materials from a sample Lowe's cart that fit the standard. Adjust quantities and post types to match your layout:

Add all items to Lowe's cart

Notes: Approval is still required, but still be sure to verify setbacks and utilities before digging, and follow any required permit steps.
